Have been studying art 3 years to develop my craft and get new inspiration.

INSPIRATION

My origin roots in the sámi culture has ofcourse influenced me strongly.
I have chosen to live for, with and off sámi handicraft for many years.

Duodji – the sámi handicraft is my great sorce to ladle inspiration from
Traditon – i carry with me the material understanding and the silent knowledge
Function – form and practical use in present times are my combinations

I feel that the arctic nature gives me the most in my work.

The intense summer – the light summer nights that brings me energy for new thoughts to be born…
The arctic winter – the days in blue light gives me strength to create…
